Victory Pointe Arcade & Café (Review)

No description available. One of my favorite spots in all of Pittsburgh is the Victory Pointe Arcade & Café, which can be found on Carson Street. Even while the area isn’t particularly large, it’s packed with plenty of arcade games and pinball machines that will keep you entertained for hours. I just turned 30, and in honor of the occasion, I planned to spend the day with the people and activities that I enjoy most: gaming, eating, and hanging out with friends. I decided to take a trip to the “South side” of Pittsburgh so that I could spend the day there checking out the local restaurants and boutiques when I needed a break from having fun in the arcades. Unfortunately, nothing was able to keep my attention for very long, and I eventually made my way back to Victory Pointe. When we arrived, the staff was engaging in conversation and really kind to each and every one of us. I was quite thrilled to place an order from the menu of various beverages that they sell. I decided to treat myself to a “Zombie Brain,” which was a combination of strawberry, kiwi, and red Mountain Dew; needless to say, it was delicious.

They mostly provide ice cream and milkshakes in addition to the many types of soft drinks. The menu is loaded with allusions to nerd culture and geek culture in general, and I couldn’t be happier about that. Such as the phrase “1.21 Gigawatt: Four shots of espresso and enough power to bring you back… to the future!”
We arrived around 2:00 p.m., and despite the fact that we were the first group there when the establishment opened, we were the only group there for the first hour or so. However, before we knew it, the place was packed with groups of people, though there were never so many that it became overwhelming.
In addition to StepManiaX and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, some of the games I played were Blazing Chrome, Espgaluda II, the Simpsons arcade (where I achieved a top-five high score), and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future.

They also feature a large number of arcade tables stocked with old favorites. Like Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Pac-Man & Space Invaders Part 2.
I highly recommend that you check out Victory Pointe Arcade & Café in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, located at 1113 E Carson Street, because of the friendly personnel, the variety of games, the wonderful beverages, and the good pricing for many hours of enjoyment.
